Every double-wall 18-8 stainless steel tumbler is finished by hand with genuine urushi lacquer, and the visible brushstrokes give each piece a bold, one-of-a-kind pattern.

Over time the urushi lacquer finish is said to settle into a deeper color as it is used, so each tumbler continues to change and develop its own character.

Each tumbler holds 250 ml (8.5 fl oz) and weighs about 149 g (5.3 oz). Both carry the Made in Tsubame mark, confirming they were produced in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture.

Also available in:

Tamahashi Lacquered Straight Tumbler Akizuki TS-11

Tamahashi Lacquered Straight Tumbler Purple Shade TS-12

Tamahashi Lacquered Rock Tumbler Akizuki TS-13

Tamahashi Lacquered Rock Tumbler Purple Shade TS-14

Tamahashi Lacquered Straight Tumbler Oboro Red TS-21

Tamahashi Lacquered Straight Tumbler Oboro Black TS-22

Tamahashi Lacquered Rock Tumbler Oboro Red TS-23

Tamahashi Lacquered Rock Tumbler Oboro Black TS-24

Specifications

Brand: Tamahashi Gift

Model: TS-16

Material: 18-8 stainless steel, double-wall construction

Finish: Hand-applied Yamanaka-nuri urushi (Japanese lacquer) from Kaga, Ishikawa, with a visible brushstroke pattern

Dimensions: 8.3 x 7.3 x 7.3 cm (3.3 x 2.9 x 2.9 in) each

Weight: 149 g (5.3 oz) each

Capacity: 250 ml (8.5 fl oz) each

Color: Dawn Moon and Purple Shadow (Gyogetsu and Shiei)

Includes: Set of 2 tumblers, one Dawn Moon and one Purple Shadow

Country of Origin: Japan (Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture)

Shipping

Ships within 7 days.
