This sponge from Kyoto Katsugu is a classic, do-it-all kitchen scrubbing tool made in Japan. Both sides are made of the same material, so you can pick it up and use either side without worrying about which one is front or back, and the thin profile folds or shapes easily by hand to fit whatever you are washing.
The sponge is wrapped in a net made from a film with metal particles woven in a loop knit, which resists tearing and gives it strong scouring power for everyday jobs that need real scrubbing.
Do not use it together with bleach or cleanser. Once the surface film turns clear, the metal particles are gone and the scouring power drops, so replace it with a new one at that point.
Choose from three colors: Gold, Silver, or Copper.
