Aderia Maneki Neko Lucky Cat Bean Plate Mike Glass 6802

This small glass plate is part of Aderia's Medetamono series, which brings traditional Japanese lucky charms to glass tableware. This piece shows a beckoning cat, or maneki-neko, in a calico (mike) coat. In Japan, beckoning cats are kept nearby in the belief that they draw good fortune to the home.

The plate measures 9 x 9 cm (3.5 x 3.5 in) and stands 1.8 cm (0.7 in) tall, a convenient size for sauce, condiments, or small snacks. It also works well as a decorative dish on a shelf or tea table.

Made in Japan, it makes a thoughtful gift for someone you want to wish well, or a small lucky charm to keep for yourself.
