Aderia Premium Nippon Taste Round Plate Mandarin Duck and Iris 6845

This round plate belongs to the Premium Nippon Taste series and its Kissho Kacho (auspicious flowers and birds) design. Paintings centered on flowers and birds are known in Japan as kachoga, long prized for their artistry and often used as gifts. This plate draws on that tradition, pairing mandarin ducks (oshidori) with iris (shobu) in an auspicious pattern, with each motif carrying its own meaning.

It makes a nice gift for someone special or a plate to use during a relaxed meal. It measures about 12 x 12 cm (4.7 x 4.7 in) and is about 1.8 cm (0.7 in) thick.
