Akebono Chiritori Colander and Bowl Tricolor Set Large MZ-3530

This Large-size set includes three tricolor chiritori-style colander bowls and one matching colander, measuring about 18.2 x 16.5 x 8.6 cm (7.2 x 6.5 x 3.4 in) and weighing about 300 g (10.6 oz / 0.66 lb).

The colander shape lets you rinse food under running water without it overflowing, and the bowl shape makes it easy to scoop food straight into a frying pan without spilling. Each piece has a hook, so the set is easy to hang and store.

The pieces are made of polypropylene that is heat resistant to 140°C and cold resistant to -20°C. They are made in Japan by Akebono Sangyo, a kitchenware manufacturer based in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, that designs and manufactures plastic kitchen tools, including popular microwave cookware, with an emphasis on in-house quality and safety.
