Akebono Clear Kyusu Teapot with Clip Mesh TW-3749

This clear teapot is a side-handle kyusu style suited to Japanese tea, shaped for easy pouring. It is made of lightweight, shatterproof copolyester resin (saturated polyester) that is transparent like glass, so you can see how well the tea has brewed, and the spout pours cleanly without dripping.

The strainer clips onto the body rather than fitting inside, so it is compact and simple to attach. Its fine mesh resists clogging, and tea leaves can float and unfurl freely inside the pot.

Akebono Sangyo, based in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, plans and manufactures plastic kitchenware, including popular microwave cooking tools, with a focus on in-house quality and safety control.
