This commercial rice paddle has a double-emboss texture on its scooping surface, large ridges topped with finer ridges, so rice does not stick and the paddle stays easy to clean.
Its blue color makes it easier to spot stray grains of rice or foreign matter on the paddle. This makes it well suited to settings that call for extra care, such as school cafeterias and hospitals.
The paddle is offered in a range of sizes for different uses. This size measures 24 x 24 x 15.5 cm (9.4 x 9.4 x 6.1 in), weighs about 150 g (5.3 oz), is dishwasher safe, and is made in Japan.
