Akebono Imono Heat Resistant Resin Chopsticks TW-3795

These chopsticks belong to the IMONO series, resin cutlery with the look and presence of cast metal. They are made in Japan by Akebono Sangyo, a plastics manufacturer that chose PPS resin for its metal-like hardness. The material feels gentle in the hand and does not feel cold.

The company makes its molds in-house and finishes each piece carefully by hand. A leaf-shaped cross section lets the chopsticks rest naturally against your fingers, so they feel steady even though they are very slim and light.

They measure 20 x 230 x 8 mm (0.8 x 9.1 x 0.3 in) and weigh 18 g (0.6 oz).
