Akebono Rice Paddle

This rice paddle makes it easy to loosen and serve rice. The paddle surface uses the maker's own double embossed design, where large bumps carry even finer bumps on top, reducing contact with the rice and keeping it from sticking.

The paddle is made of highly water-repellent TPX resin (polymethylpentene), which works together with the embossing to further prevent rice from sticking. A pointed tip helps pack rice into the corners of a bento box.

It is dishwasher safe and made in Japan.

Available in right-handed and left-handed versions.
