This onigiri shaper lets you form a neat rice ball with almost no effort. Pack cooked rice firmly into the shaper, then press and pop it out for a clean, consistent shape every time.
The inside surface has a double embossed texture that helps keep rice from sticking as you shape it, so the finished onigiri releases cleanly from the mold.
It is made of polypropylene that holds up to both hot rice and the freezer, from Akebono Sangyo, a kitchenware maker based in Tsubame, Niigata, known for practical plastic kitchen tools that solve small everyday cooking frustrations, including its popular microwave cookware. Made in Japan.
