This 21.4 x 21.4 cm (8.4 x 8.4 in) square tray is a dedicated microwave accessory for cooking mochi. Dip the mochi in water, place it on the tray, and microwave it for soft, freshly pounded-style mochi in minutes.
The surface has a double embossed texture so the mochi does not stick while cooking. The square shape is designed to fit easily inside a microwave, and the tray folds flat for compact storage. It also separates into two pieces, which makes cleanup easier, and it is dishwasher safe.
