The Akebono Mainichi series brings simple, practical kitchen tools designed for everyday use. This standing rice paddle is sized for daily bento preparation, making it easy to serve and pack rice at home.
The paddle surface uses a double emboss design, large ridges with a finer texture layered on top, so rice does not stick to it. A pointed tip lets you pack rice neatly into the corners of a bento box, and the handle is shaped so the paddle stands upright on its own, keeping it off the counter for better hygiene.
Made of polypropylene, the paddle is dishwasher safe and made in Japan by Akebono Sangyo, a kitchenware maker based in Tsubame, Niigata.
This paddle is available in two colors: Gray and Red.
