Akebono Standing Rice Paddle White PM-900

This playful white rice paddle stands upright on its own, so the scooping end never touches the counter. That keeps it more hygienic between uses. The handle can also hang on a hook.

A double embossed surface keeps cooked rice from sticking to the paddle. It is made of polypropylene that is heat resistant to 120°C (248°F) and cold resistant to -20°C (-4°F).

Akebono Sangyo, based in Tsubame, Niigata, designs and manufactures plastic kitchenware with practical ideas for everyday cooking. Made in Japan.
