Akebono Tamagoyaki Spatula Short Red CH-2153

These tongs are made for tamagoyaki, the Japanese rolled omelet. The tip is shaped like a small spatula, so one tool can mix the egg, flip it, and gather it toward one side as the layers build up.

The tip opens like a pair of chopsticks and closes like a spatula, so it covers both jobs. The small spatula section makes flipping easier, which helps if turning the egg has been the tricky part for you.
