Akebono Tape and Bag Cutter

This compact cutter from Akebono Sangyo slices through hard to open bags and the tape used to bundle vegetables, with a smooth, quick cut.

To cut vegetable tape and similar tape, open the cutter and use it. To cut a bag, slip the bag between the two sides of the cutter. It is also handy for packaging that is hard to open, such as toilet paper bags.

The back has a magnet, so you can keep it on the refrigerator or another steel surface. Made in Japan by Akebono Sangyo of Tsubame, Niigata, a maker of plastic kitchen tools.

Available in two colors: Blue and Pink.
