These tea servers from Akebono Sangyo have a clear, glass-like body made of shatterproof resin, so they will not break if dropped. They sit steadily on the table and can also be used as a water pitcher or barley tea pot.
The mesh infuser clips onto the body rather than fitting inside the lid, making it compact and easy to attach or remove. The fine mesh keeps tea leaves from clogging it, and the spout is shaped to pour cleanly without dripping.
Each server works well for both hot and cold drinks, is dishwasher safe, and is made in Japan by Akebono Sangyo, based in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture.
