Arnest Fine Mesh Colander with Handle 38.5cm Stainless Steel

This stainless steel colander uses a coarser mesh than a typical colander, the same style used in commercial fryers, so water and oil drain quickly and it is easy to rinse clean. Set it inside a 24 to 26 cm (9.4 to 10.2 in) frying pan to strain vegetables or noodles by lifting the colander straight out instead of carrying a heavy pot to the sink, or leave it in the pan while frying and lift it out to drain the oil.

It also works for blanching fish, draining tempura, or as a serving tray. When boiling noodles, a few strands may poke through the wider mesh, but they are easy to push back in with chopsticks and will not get stuck. The colander measures about 38.5 x 24 x 6 cm (15.2 x 9.4 x 2.4 in) and weighs about 190 g (6.7 oz). Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, it dries quickly after washing.
