Asahi Copper Sake Warmer (Tanpo) 330ml Bronze CNE41

This pure copper sake warmer, known in Japanese as a chirori, is hand-polished by craftsmen in Tsubame, Niigata, Japan, and finished in a warm bronze tone with a hammered texture.

Copper conducts heat very well, so sake warms up quickly when the warmer is placed in hot water, and this gentle, even heating is also said to help keep the aroma of the sake from escaping.

Because each piece is finished by hand, the color and texture vary slightly from one warmer to the next. The warmer stands about 120 mm (4.7 in) tall, weighs about 152 g (5.4 oz / 0.34 lb), and holds 330 ml (11.2 fl oz).
