Asahi Pure Copper Tea Caddy with Tea Scoop Bronze Finish in Wooden Box CB510

This copper tea caddy comes with a matching tea scoop, hand-polished one by one by craftsmen in Tsubame, Niigata, Japan, and finished in a calm, traditional bronze tone.

The caddy has an inner lid that helps keep out moisture, protecting the flavor of the tea stored inside. Because each piece is finished by hand, the color and texture vary slightly from one caddy to the next, giving it a one-of-a-kind character.

The caddy stands about 110 mm (4.3 in) tall, weighs about 354 g (12.5 oz / 0.78 lb), and holds about 200 g (7.1 oz / 0.44 lb) of tea leaves. The included scoop is about 6 mm (0.2 in) thick and weighs about 21 g (0.7 oz / 0.05 lb). The set comes in a wooden box, making it suitable as a gift.
