This microwave steam container from Azuma comes with a removable stainless steel strainer, so food can be rinsed and kept fresh in the refrigerator right in the same container.
The lid can stay locked in place while you heat the contents in the microwave; just remove the strainer first. The body is made of polymethylpentene (TPX) and the lid of polypropylene (PP), rated for use from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F). The strainer insert is made of 18-8 stainless steel.
Made in Japan, it is a convenient container for refrigerator storage and microwave reheating in one piece.
