Azuma Stainless Steel Punched Mesh Skimmer

This Azuma skimmer is used in Japanese home cooking to lift scum, foam, or fried food out of a pot of broth, soup, or hot oil. It is made of 18-8 stainless steel.

Instead of a traditional woven wire mesh, the head uses a punched mesh design, so food residue and oil do not get caught in small gaps. That makes the skimmer easier to clean after use.

It measures 29 x 7.3 x 7.3 cm (11.4 x 2.9 x 2.9 in) and is made in Japan.
