This steaming plate from Azuma turns your own frying pan into a steamer. Set it inside a larger frying pan, add water, and use it to make steamed shabu-shabu, warm vegetable salads, siu mai, or steamed buns.

The dome-shaped lid gives extra headroom for taller foods. The plate is made of 18-8 stainless steel, while the lid is 18-0 stainless steel, the knob is phenolic resin, and the base ring is 66 nylon resin.

Sized for larger frying pans, it adds steaming to your everyday cooking without needing a dedicated steamer. Made in Japan.
