These CAFEC Abaca Plus filters are made specifically for the CAFEC Flower Dripper DEEP27. Even with the narrow bottom angle of the DEEP27, the matching paper keeps an air layer between filter and dripper, so the coffee grounds can bloom freely and form a deep, stable bed.
The filters are formed on a dedicated machine using the FGC (Fine-Grained Crepe) process. The crepes are kept low but spaced closely, increasing the paper's surface area for a smoother extraction.
The paper contains abaca (Manila hemp), a non-wood fiber that is flexible, strong and lets liquid pass well. The paper is FSC certified. Each pack holds 100 one-cup filters. Made in Japan by Sanyo Sangyo.
