These CAFEC Abaca trapezoid coffee filters are made from virgin pulp blended with abaca (Manila hemp) fiber. Each pack holds 100 filters, and the lineup is offered in two sizes (101 for 1 to 2 cups, and 102 for 3 to 5 cups) and in white or brown.
Both sides of the paper carry a crepe texture made with the maker's own papermaking technique. The balanced crepe height keeps an air layer between the filter and the dripper for a smooth water flow and a clear cup without cloudiness. The white filters are certified for use in the Japan Hand Drip Championship (JHDC).
Abaca pulp is a fine, flexible, and strong fiber that helps liquid pass through well. It absorbs carbon dioxide well, is highly biodegradable, and does not release harmful substances when burned.
These filters are made for trapezoid (fan shaped) drippers only and cannot be used with cone drippers. Made in Japan.
