CAFEC Flower Dripper Oval Coffee Cone for 2 to 4 Cups Clear FDO-102

The CAFEC Flower Dripper Oval is the final addition to the Flower Dripper series, combining CAFEC's flower-shaped ribs with a fan-shaped (sector) dripper body. This clear version is sized for brewing 2 to 4 cups of pour-over coffee.

Two kinds of ribs support a smooth extraction. The flower ribs let the coffee grounds bloom fully so hot water soaks through the whole bed, while straight ribs along the base guide the brewed coffee toward the two extraction holes used on this larger size. Ribs set around the holes keep the coffee flowing smoothly and help prevent over-extraction at the bottom of the dripper.

Viewed from above, the dripper has a slightly oval shape, chosen to keep the pour angle narrow for a deep filter bed while still fitting snugly with CAFEC paper filters. It stands about 94 mm (3.7 in) tall and weighs about 110 g (3.9 oz / 0.24 lb).
