CB Japan Vacuum Sealed Rice Storage Bag Set

This atomico vacuum sealed rice storage set is designed for keeping rice in the refrigerator. Each bag is made of a three layer film that blocks light and UV, and a hand pump draws air out through a valve before the bag goes into the fridge.

Using it is simple: fill the bag with rice, close the zipper, open the air valve and pump out the air, then store the bag in the refrigerator. Removing the air reduces the oxidation that can dull the flavor of stored rice, and refrigeration helps limit the effect of temperature swings.

The set includes a smaller bag, about 32.5 x 29 x 4.5 cm (12.8 x 11.4 x 1.8 in), a larger bag, about 38.5 x 33.5 x 4.5 cm (15.2 x 13.2 x 1.8 in), and a pump that is about 15.4 cm (6.1 in) tall. Each bag has a pour spout for scooping out only as much rice as you need, and the slim shape fits easily in a refrigerator vegetable drawer.
