This Cellarmate glass storage jar has a carrying handle and an airtight seal, made for pickling, preserving, and everyday kitchen storage. The jar body is soda lime glass with 18-8 stainless steel fittings, and the mouth opening is about 8.6 cm (3.4 in) across, wide enough to fit a hand inside for thorough cleaning and to make it easy to ladle contents in and out.
The lid, rubber packing or gasket, and metal clasps all come apart, so every part can be washed separately and kept clean. The metal fittings are made of 18-8 stainless steel, which is strong and resists rust for long term use, and light surface marks can usually be buffed away as the stainless steel renews its surface.
This jar is offered in three sizes: 1 L, 2 L, and 4 L.
