Fuji Cutlery Kitchen Bijou Lip Peeler

This lip peeler from Fuji Cutlery's Kitchen Bijou line is a vertical peeler shaped like a lipstick tube, and it works the same way: twist the barrel to extend the blade before peeling. Held like a small knife, it lets you peel fruits and vegetables to an even thickness.

With the blade retracted, the tip of the peeler doubles as a sprout remover. Because the blade folds away into the body, it is safe to handle and stores in a compact size. The peeler can be taken apart for thorough washing, which keeps it easy to clean.

Fuji Cutlery was founded as the sales company for Tojiro, the knife maker based in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, and brings that sharpness and ease of use to small, casual kitchen tools such as this peeler.
