The Fuji Cutlery MV Color Petty Utility Knife belongs to a series built for professional food service kitchens, such as school meal centers, bento production facilities, and fried food specialty shops. The handle is slip resistant, thermoplastic elastomer resin, available in six colors so kitchens can color code knives by ingredient for cleaner food handling.

The blade and handle are joined by insert molding, fusing metal and resin into one piece instead of using rivets. This leaves no gap where water can collect, making the knife easier to keep clean under repeated daily use.

The blade is Japanese molybdenum vanadium stainless steel, resistant to rust and chipping and known for holding its edge under heavy use. This petty utility knife, in yellow, measures 260 mm (10.2 in) overall with a 150 mm (5.9 in) blade and weighs 55 g (1.9 oz / 0.12 lb). It is made in Japan.
