Fuji Cutlery Narihira Pro All Stainless Steel Chef's Knife 180mm Green FC-3083GR

The Narihira Pro series from Fuji Cutlery includes this green 180 mm (7.1 in) chef's knife, made for everyday prep such as slicing, dicing and mincing vegetables, meat and fish. The blade is molybdenum steel, and the handle and bolster are forged as a single piece of 18-8 stainless steel with no seams, rivets or gaps, so the knife can be cleaned with hot water.

A silicone ring at the base of the handle is color coded, making it easy to dedicate individual knives to particular ingredients and tell your knives apart at a glance. The ring is easy to remove and swap.

Each blade is water whetted and given a true hand-finished edge by skilled craftsmen before it leaves the workshop.

Fuji Cutlery was established as the sales company for the knife maker Tojiro, and the brand name comes from Mount Fuji, shown in Tojiro's logo. The Narihira Pro line brings that same sharpness and everyday usability to a more casual knife.
