Ginpo has made donabe clay pots since 1972, and the Hana Mishima series, finished with a white slip inlay pattern, is one of its longstanding designs. The pots are made in the Banko ware tradition in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, using clay mixed with the mineral petalite, which increases the pot's heat resistance.
This Size 6 pot is sized for one person and measures 21.2 x 19 x 11 cm (8.3 x 7.5 x 4.3 in), with an interior capacity of 900 ml (30.4 fl oz). It is for direct flame use only and should not be used on induction (electromagnetic) cooktops. It is made in Japan.
