The GreenBell G-2031 long kitchen scissors are made in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, a region known for cutlery, where craftsmen sharpen each pair individually. The blades are made from high-hardness hardened stainless cutlery steel, with a handle of ABS resin, stainless steel, and polyacetal resin.

The blade length is about 95 mm (3.7 in), giving a long reach that opens and closes smoothly while holding its sharpness over time. Beyond cutting, the scissors also work for opening lids and bottle caps and for cracking walnuts.
