The Commo free dish won the Good Design Award in 2010 and is part of Hakusan Porcelain's Commo series of Hasami ware porcelain, made in Japan. This piece comes in a deep blue glaze.
The inside of the dish has a relief pattern that makes scooping food easier, and the design was created to work with everyday kitchens and tables. Its depth makes it well suited to serving stew, soup, or a main dish.
The dish measures 20.5 x 20.5 x 4.5 cm (8.1 x 8.1 x 1.8 in) and weighs 460 g (16.2 oz / 1.01 lb). It can be paired with other pieces in the Commo series for a matching table setting.
