The Petra plate is part of Hakusan Porcelain's Petra series, a Hasami ware line inspired by the shapes of natural stones and rocks, which won a 2020 Good Design Award. The series is available in two shapes, a long plate and a round plate, and three colors: white, navy, and gray.
This Size L plate measures 24.5 x 21 cm (9.6 x 8.3 in) and weighs 510 g (18 oz / 1.12 lb). Its flat surface gives it enough room for one-plate meals and other everyday dishes.
The flat design also means the plates stack without taking up much height, making them easy to store. They work well for daily use as well as for serving guests, and also make a nice gift.
