This Chacha Kyusu teapot from Hario is made of heat resistant glass that resists staining and does not easily pick up odors, so it works equally well for Japanese tea, Chinese tea, black tea, or herbal tea. Both the body and the lid are clear glass, letting you watch the color of the tea as it steeps.
Each teapot comes with a large tea strainer that gives the leaves room to unfurl, and the lid has a rounded knob that is easy to hold. Remove the strainer and the teapot can also be reheated in the microwave.
Made in Japan. This teapot is available in three sizes, so you can choose the capacity that best fits how you brew.
