Hario Mugicha Microwave Barley Tea Pitcher 1000ml White

This pitcher from Hario is designed to brew concentrated mugicha, Japanese barley tea, directly in the microwave, so there is no need to use a stovetop. After heating, simply dilute the concentrate to the strength you like. The lid stays on during microwaving and has a built-in strainer, so the same pitcher also works for green tea, black tea, and milk tea.

The compact, low-profile design is made to fit microwaves with at least 19 cm (7.5 in) of interior height and refrigerator door pockets as narrow as 11 cm (4.3 in) wide, making it easy to store after use.

The pitcher holds 1 L (1.1 qt) and measures 18.3 x 15 x 10.3 cm (7.2 x 5.9 x 4.1 in), weighing 417 g (14.7 oz). The body is made of Hario's heat-resistant glass, with a polypropylene lid and filter and a silicone gasket. It is made in Japan.
