This corner spatula from Hasegawa is molded from an ultra high molecular weight polymer blended with nylon, with a wood core inside the handle. It is built for demanding settings such as hospital and school cafeteria kitchens, and unlike a wood spatula, it will not crack or splinter with use.
It is intended for general cooking tasks such as stir frying vegetables or simmering dishes. Avoid using it over direct flame, such as for making curry roux or stew in a gas fired rotary kettle.
This spatula is made in Japan and is available in three sizes: 50 cm, 60 cm, and 75 cm.
