This Cast Varius deep frying pan from Hokuriku Aluminum is part of a detachable-handle series built with cast aluminum construction. Its base uses Japan's first trident-shaped structure, a composite design made possible by aluminum casting, for a stable fit on the stovetop.
This 22 cm (8.7 in) pan has a base thickness of about 3.7 mm (0.1 in) and stands about 72 mm (2.8 in) tall. The interior is finished with a non-stick coating blended with spherical ceramic particles, which helps reduce surface wear and improve the coating's durability.
