This Hyozaemon gift set pairs two sets of chopsticks with two chopstick rests in a kiri wood box, designed as a keepsake for couples.
The chopsticks have a rounded head and an octagonal shape running from the grip to the tip, a form chosen for its association with harmony and with good fortune spreading outward. The chopstick rests are shaped like Mount Fuji, another traditional symbol of prosperity.
The set includes one pair measuring 23.5 cm (9.3 in) and one pair measuring 21.5 cm (8.5 in). The tips are finished with natural lacquer, and everything is packaged together in a kiri wood gift box.
