These chopsticks are from Hyozaemon's Natsukaze series, with a design meant to bring a refreshing early-summer feeling to the table. White washi paper is dyed blue and pink and affixed to the grip, and the tip has a square shape for ease of use.
Because each pair is dyed individually, the exact shade can vary slightly from one pair to the next.
This is the Blue, Large size, measuring 23.5 cm (9.3 in). Each Hyozaemon chopstick has a tip coated with natural lacquer (urushi), and Hyozaemon offers lacquer touch-up and repair service so the chopsticks can be used for many years. Made in Japan.
