Ikenaga Nambu Tetsubin Cast Iron Kettle Sakura Pattern 1.2L Blue Bamboo

This Nambu tetsubin iron kettle from Ikenaga Tekko features a cast cherry blossom pattern and a blue bamboo-wrapped handle. The interior has an oxidized iron coating.

It can be used on an open gas flame as well as induction (IH) cooktops, and holds up to 1.2 liters (1.3 qt) when full.

The kettle measures 18 x 15 x 15 cm (7.1 x 5.9 x 5.9 in) including the handle and weighs 1.4 kg (3.1 lb). It is made in Japan using traditional Nambu ironware craftsmanship.
