Ikenaga Tekko Cast Iron Pickle Water Drainer Mini 00764

This mini water drainer from Ikenaga Tekko is made of cast iron using traditional Nambu ironware techniques from Japan. It is designed for nukazuke, Japanese rice bran pickles, to help draw out excess water during the pickling process.

Nambu ironware is a long established craft, and cast iron pieces like this one are valued for their durability.

This mini size makes it suited for smaller batches of pickles at home.
