Inokuma Cooking Twine No. 8 is a cotton kitchen string useful for keeping food from losing its shape during cooking, tying rolled dishes, and wrapping foods for steaming or boiling. It works well for tying up chashu pork, roast chicken, and homemade ham, for closing the top of dashi bags, and for tying chimaki (bamboo-wrapped rice dumplings), among other uses.

This twine is made of 100% cotton and produced in Japan, so it is safe to use directly with food.
