Ishigaki Karari Diatomite Knife and Sheath Stand HO1948

This is a knife and lid stand built around a diatomite absorbent tray that dries the water left on washed knives and pot lids. The diatomite tablet pulls in moisture quickly and releases it again through evaporation, so puddles do not build up around the base.

Slits along the side make it easy to slide a knife blade into place, and because the tray itself absorbs the water there is no tray to empty after each wash. The body is made of ABS resin, so it will not rust and can be wiped down or washed with a mild detergent.

Measuring 22 x 10 x 10 cm (8.7 x 3.9 x 3.9 in), the stand has a simple, modern shape that suits most kitchen counters.
