This miniature cast iron kettle comes from Ishigaki's Rin-Ne Arare series, finished with the traditional arare (hailstone) pattern and an enamel-coated interior. It measures about 7.5 x 7 x 6 cm (3 x 2.8 x 2.4 in) and holds 60 ml (2 fl oz).
Its small size makes it better suited as a decorative piece or gift than as an everyday brewing kettle. It fits nicely on a shelf, in a tea corner, or inside a display cabinet, and makes a nice gift for anyone who likes Japanese style ironware.
This kettle is offered in five colors: Deep Blue, Crimson, Dark Green, Malachite Green, and Black.
