This Nambu ironware teapot from Iwachu is part of the Maple series, finished in gold with a colored accent. Nambu ironware is a traditional Japanese cast iron craft, and the interior and the underside of the lid are enamel coated, so the teapot will not rust even if moisture is left inside and is easy to clean.
The cast iron body holds heat well and helps keep water at a steady temperature, which is useful for brewing tea. It comes with a tea strainer.
Made in Japan, this teapot suits a quiet tea time and pairs well with other tableware in matching colors.
This teapot is offered in two type numbers and two color combinations: gold with European blue, and gold with red brown.
