This multi-purpose griddle plate comes with a glass lid, making it possible to grill, simmer, steam, or cook rice all on the same plate. It is sized to fit both standard and compact cassette gas stove burners.
The aluminum die-cast plate has a fluororesin coating for easy cleanup and is designed to fit securely onto an Iwatani cassette gas stove burner. The glass lid has a handle that also serves as a convenient place to rest chopsticks.
Assembled with the lid on, the set measures 25.8 x 21.8 x 10.3 cm (10.2 x 8.6 x 4.1 in) and weighs 480 g (16.9 oz / 1.06 lb). The plate on its own is 6.1 cm (2.4 in) high, and the glass lid is 4.8 cm (1.9 in) high.
