Iwatani Multi-Section Hot Pot for Cassette Stove CB-A-YBN

This multi-section plate is made to sit on a gas cassette stove and combines a grilling area with a pot area, each built with a separate plate structure so it transfers heat the way it should. The grilling side lets you cook directly over the flame for a crisp, juicy result, while the attached pot lets you simmer at the same time.

Fat from the grilled meat runs down the grooves into the pot section, adding richness and flavor to the soup. The grilling area also works well for seafood and other ingredients beyond meat.

The pot section is about 3.5 cm (1.4 in) deep with a capacity of about 750 ml (25.4 fl oz), enough for simmering or for cooking grilled vegetables Jingisukan style. The separate two-part design, together with the fluororesin coating on the cooking surface, makes cleanup simple.
