Kalita Plastic Coffee Dripper 101-D

This Kalita coffee dripper is made of lightweight, easy to handle AS (acrylonitrile styrene) resin. It uses Kalita's three hole design, which is meant to let the coffee drip through before the bitter, less pleasant flavors are extracted, so only the tasty part of the brew comes through.

The three holes let the brewed coffee drip down naturally into the server rather than pooling inside the dripper. Long ribs on the inside of the cone keep the paper filter from clinging to the dripper wall, which helps filtration and guides the coffee down into the server below. The design was developed with Japanese taste preferences in mind, aiming for a clean cup.

This 101-D model is sized for 1 to 2 cups.
