This scrub brush from Kamenoko Tawashi Nishio Shoten is made in Japan from shuro palm fiber. Unlike many scrub brushes, the metal band that holds the fibers together is hidden inside the brush, so every side can be used for scrubbing without the band getting in the way.

The shuro fiber is slender and pliable, which makes it gentle enough for glass and pottery, including removing tea stains from cups. Its rounded shape is also handy for washing teacups and mugs. It measures 13 x 6 x 5 cm (5.1 x 2.4 x 2 in) and weighs 48 g (1.7 oz).
